Smugglers’ Notch Distillery - Unwind With a Delicious Fall Cocktail

Fall means crisp days and warm fires, and glorious foliage against the bluest sky. How will you spend your fall days? Hiking? Seeing if the trout are biting? Maybe an afternoon game. After you’ve taken in the sights and smells of a beautiful Autumn day, unwind with one of our fall cocktails, courtesy of Smugglers’ Notch Distillery.
Smugglers’ Notch Distillery, recently located to a larger facility on a ten-acre campus in Jeffersonville, is the recipient of multiple awards including Top 10 US Craft Vodka Distillers List of the USA Today Readers’ Choice Awards in 2018 and Double Gold awards in the 2016 San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Straight Bourbon and Litigation Wheat Whiskey.

Smugglers’ Notch Distillery Back Bowls Bliss

  • 2 oz. Smugglers’ Notch Distillery Vodka
  • 1 oz. Smugglers’ Notch Distillery Gin (802 Blend)
  • Lemon peel
  • Orange bitters

Combine the vodka and gin in a Boston Shaker containing ice. Shake until well frosted. Strain into a martini glass. Add lemon peel and a dash of bitters. Serve and enjoy responsibly. 



Mountain Stormy

  • 1 oz. Smugglers' Notch Bourbon Barrel Aged Rum
  • 4 oz. ginger beer
  • Splash of lime juice

Combine all ingredients into a glass with ice and mix. Serve and enjoy responsibly.




Smugglers' Punch

  • 3 oz. Smugglers' Notch Bourbon Barrel Aged Rum
  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • 1 oz. lemon juice
  • 6 oz. orange juice
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • Dash of grenadine syrup

Combine all ingredients in a Boston shaker containing ice. Shake until well frosted. Strain into a glass containing ice. Serve and enjoy responsibly.

 

Hot Rum Chocolate

  • 1 oz. Smugglers' Notch Bourbon Barrel Aged Rum
  • 5 oz. hot chocolate
Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate!
