Fruitlands

More than 1,200 feet of neatly trellised raspberry rows, along with 100-plus blueberry bushes, make Fruitlands in Marshfield one of the best places for plucking. The owners also operate a bed & breakfast, and offer kayak rentals, turning Fruitlands into an all-around destination for summer fun.

Hartshorn Farm

June’s Strawberry Festival gives way to an equally buoyant bash at the annual Blueberry Festival held each August at this Waitsfield educational organic farm, which also holds wellness retreats, camps, and more. Pick your own produce while learning about Vermont’s land, legacy, and animals.

Knoll Farm

This historic property in Fayston grows eight varieties of organic blueberries every July and August — two months that are also happily busy with farm dinners, retreats benefit concerts and workshops.

Don’t miss Blueberry Sundays, when warm cinnamon buns are served free to pickers.

Random Gardens
